Reservations Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Gulliver Ireland Reservations Terms and Conditions. We offer an online Accommodation Reservation service. (“Reservation service”) This service is operated and managed by Visitravel Limited, Iveragh Road, Killorglin Co. Kerry.
The terms listed below set out the rights and obligations of (“You”) and those of Visitravel Limited (“Gulliver Ireland”) and the Accommodation Provider (“the Provider”) in relation to the services offered.

Notice to all users: CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS before you click on the “confirm” button at the end of the reservation process. By clicking on the “confirm” button you are confirming your Accommodation Reservation with the provider this creates a binding agreement between You and the Provider.

 

SERVICED ACCOMMODATION RESERVATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Serviced Accommodation Reservation terms and conditions. This covers Hotels, Bed and Breakfasts, Guesthouses and any other accommodation that provides services at an all inclusive price.

1. Guest Obligations
When You make an online accommodation reservation You must:

  • Enter correct contact details
  • Pay a deposit plus VAT
  • Pay a Reservation fee. (This fee is listed on the Reservation Form). See Methods of Payment
  • Use a valid credit card to guarantee the accommodation reservation
  • Be responsible for the payment of the balance due and any additional costs to the provider on arrival
  • Read the cancellation policy (See Cancellations). You hereby confirm that You have read and understand the cancellation requirements when you make your accommodation reservation.
  • A Special Discountis an online promotional percentage discount offer from a property on selected products and selected dates. These percentage amounts are determined by each property and are subject to availability. Special Discounts are clearly highlighted and include

    • Stay x nights get x% off
    • Stay x nights get x% off the last night

    Special Discount Bookings cannot be amended. Read the Cancellation Policy (See Cancellations).

  • To make an Amendment to your booking please call us on +353 (0) 66 979 2132 during office opening hours (GMT – Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 5.30pm. Saturday & Irish Bank Holidays: 9.00am to 5.00pm. Closed Sundays).
    A handling charge of 10.00 EUR plus VAT will apply to all amendments. This charge will be debited from your credit/charge card.
    Note that additional charges may apply to amended bookings, depending on the nature of the request – or where the original booking is cancelled within the property cancellation terms.
Where You require special facilities or additional requirements that You must ensure that the accommodation of your choice has them available. (See Special Needs or alternatively Contact A Travel Advisor.)

2. Gulliver Ireland’s Obligations
Gulliver Ireland reserves Accommodation on behalf of and with the authority of the person mentioned on the Reservation Form as the Provider and You.

3. Prices and Information
The price for the Accommodation that can be booked by you are specified on www.gulliver.ie.
Prices quoted will not include additional requirements unless specifically stated. While every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of information Gulliver Ireland accepts no responsibility for errors or omissions in the provision of information, nor accepts any liabilities for loss, injury, damage, delay, expense or inconvenience whatsoever in relation to the provision of the information.

4. Provider Obligations
The Provider agrees to furnish the Accommodation as set out in the Reservation Form. This will constitute the entire agreement between the Provider and You.

5. Liability of the Provider
The Provider shall be solely liable to You for any loss that You may suffer in connection with the accommodation reservation. If the Accommodation that You reserved is not available, it is the Provider’s responsibility to ensure that suitable equivalent Accommodation of a similar or higher standard is arranged for You and transport is arranged to such alternative Accommodation.

6. Limitation of Liability of the Provider
The liability of the Provider shall not exceed the total price for the Accommodation as specified on the Reservation Form. In no event will the Provider be liable for any indirect or consequential loss by You. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider against all costs or damages whether direct or indirect arising from any acts or omissions by You.

7. Complaints Procedure
All complaints, in relation to the Accommodation, special facilities, or additional requirements should be made in writing to the Provider within two weeks of the event of the complaint. Every effort will be made by the Provider to settle a complaint made by You. If this procedure does not satisfy your complaint will be referred to the decision of a single arbitrator appointed by agreement between You and the Provider. If You and the Provider cannot agree on the arbitrator, the President for the time being of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland will appoint the arbitrator. The Arbitration Acts, 1954 to 1980 and any statutory amendment or reinactment thereof will apply to such arbitration. No legal action can commence without initiating the procedure above.

8. Booking Process
After your stay, we will send you an email to check that everything was ok and to seek your feedback.
