We, Trish and Ian are a local couple and our hostel is on the river bank justĀ 1 minute from the centre of Wicklow Town, a country seaside town only one hour from Dublin. Captain Halpin’s Bunkhouse is named after Captain Robert Halpin who laid the first telegraphic network and who lived for a time in the house. Our hostel has a full kitchen, 2, 4, 6 and 12 bed dormitories/rooms that are all ensuite. They areĀ ideal for friends or families. We like to share our local knowledge with our guests and we are delighted to help you enjoy your visit to the max.
